About Me
Having worked in the exciting field of sexuality for twelve years, I believe feeling present and pleasurable in our bodies has the power to change our lives. I believe sexual energy is innocent, and all people deserve to explore and express their authentic sexual selves.
As a qualified and registered Sexologist, I am particularly passionate about drawing on my lived experiences to connect with my clients from a place of true understanding and deep compassion. I aim to create a warm and inviting space that feels like a soft place for clients to land.
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Sexology (Professional), and am currently completing a Master of Professional Psychology. I am also a qualified Breathwork Facilitator, having trained at the highest standards endorsed by the Australian Breathwork Association.
In recent years, I have worked in the not-for-profit sector as a researcher investigating intimate partner violence and reproductive coercion at Sexual Health Quarters, as a sexuality and relationships counsellor and educator for people with disability at SECCA, and at Midland Women's Health Care Place providing support for women and children escaping high-risk family and domestic violence.
As a trauma-informed practitioner, I recognise that stress, fear, and trauma can impact the nervous system. This might keep us feeling "stuck" in old patterns, even when our mind is determined to move on. For this reason, I take a holistic approach to working with the mind and body together, as one connected system.
Note: I am not currently accepting new clients for one-on-one sessions.
