About Me
Having worked in the exciting field of sexuality for twelve years, I believe feeling present and pleasurable in our bodies has the power to change our lives. I believe sexual energy is innocent, and all people deserve to explore and express their authentic sexual selves.
My interest in sexology sparked in the adult industry, where I flourished as a multi-award winning and internationally acclaimed sex worker. During this decade, I learnt about the complexity and beauty of human sexuality in ways that textbooks cannot teach.
Now, as a clinically-trained Sexologist, I am particularly passionate about drawing on my lived experiences to connect with my clients from a place of true understanding and deep compassion. I believe healing is always possible, for everyone, and that we have the power to create change in our lives at any given moment.
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Sexology (Professional). In recent years, I have worked in the not-for-profit sector as a researcher investigating intimate partner violence and reproductive coercion at Sexual Health Quarters, and as a sexuality and relationships counsellor and educator for people with disability at SECCA.
As a trauma-informed practitioner, I recognise that stress, fear, and trauma can be stored in the body; keeping us "stuck" in old patterns, even when our mind is determined to move on. For this reason, I take a holistic approach to working with the mind and body together, as one complete system.
I have completed 420 hours of Master Breathwork Facilitator training to the highest standard approved by the Australian Breathwork Association. I am one of few Breathwork Practitioners in Australia who is qualified to offer "talk therapy" counselling along with somatic experiencing.
